Step 3: (optional)

Menu bar >tools>Customize

Step 4:
Click on sketcher work branch a
and then click on xy plane. a

Step 5:
And now you are in sketcher work branch. And now go to menu bar
a
Insert > Profile > Predefined Profile > Hexagon

Or
a
Bring you pointer to zero coordinate. it will snap this point automatically. And the picture will be something like this.a

Step 6:

Step 7:

See in step 1 fig.2. We have taken D = 24 mm the Diameter of the bolt. So 2D = 48. After dimensioning the color of the profile will turn into Green color the sign of fully constraint.
a
Now click here a to Com out from sketcher work branch. If you are unable to find this icon you can refer Step 3. You may get the solution.

Step 8:

Step 9:

I hope you have successfully completed the pad command. In next few steps we will make a hole.

a

In type Tab a select the simple option. And we will discus later about the Thread definition.

Step 10:

a
After completing these steps the centre point color will convert to green color. And now Com out a from sketcher work branch. and press a in Hole definition deluge box.

Step 11:
Click on sketcher work branch a. Select the ZX plane a

Previously we learned an advance technique to make constrain.
Now we will use the basic way to make it constrain.
